Asus starts rolling out System updates to its Zenfone 5 and 5Z. Both the device was launched in February 2018 with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The update on Zenfone 5 comes with the firmware version 16.0615.2002.120 and on Zenfone 5Z it comes with 100.10.107.46.
Firstly talking about the update on Zenfone 5, it includes the latest Android security patch. Along with the security patch, the update also includes some system performance improvements and fixes the camera QR code scanning issue and Brazil time zone adjusting issue.
It includes the fixes to the issue like user can’t use PS4 handle to play PS4 remote games, silent issue when using Bluetooth to play music, Optimization to battery consumption. It is also packed with some system stability improvements and more.

Asus says that they are rolling out the update in batches, So who doesn’t get it right now don’t panic the update will reach you in a couple of days. You can also check the update manually by going through the settings > System > updates. We recommend you that before installing the update it will do charge your phone up to at least 50%.
