Asus has expanded its gaming flagship with the introduction of the ROG Phone 6 series. The lineup includes two models: ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro. The company has equipped smartphones with top gaming hardware and several new accessories to provide an enhanced gaming experience. Let’s take a closer look at the new pair of devices.

Asus ROG Phone 6Â
The smartphone features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display along with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection. The panel offers a 165Hz refresh rate, a 720Hz touch sampling rate, 1200 nits of peak brightness, and a touch latency of 23 milliseconds.
Underneath, the handset powers the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. On the software front, it runs Android 12 out of the box. A massive 6000 mAh battery keeps the system working with 65W fast charging support.
For optics, the ROG Phone 6 houses a 12MP sensor on the front for selfies and video calls. At the back, there’s a triple-camera module consisting of a 50MP main lens, a 13MP ultrawide snapper, and a 5MP macro sensor.
To assist the gaming requirements, the phone features the new GameCool 6, AeroActive Cooler 6 fan, updated Air Triggers on the left edge, and a cooling mechanism inside. The other notable features include two USB Type-C ports mounted on the right and bottom edges, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, WiFi 6e, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, two SIM card slots, and so on.
Asus ROG Phone 6 Pro
The ROG Phone 6 Pro is identical to the vanilla ROG Phone 6 in every aspect, including display, processor, operating system, gaming equipment, camera, etc. However, the ROG Phone 6 Pro is available in up to 18GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. In addition, it supports Asus’ ROG Vision display on the back.Â
Price and Availability
The ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro is available in black and white color options. The vanilla model costs €999 for its base 12GB/ 256GB storage model. While the upper 16GB/ 512GB is priced at €1149. On the other hand, the Pro model is worth €1299 for its sole 18GB/ 512GB variant.

The ROG Phone 6 series will soon go on sale in India as well. However, the exact date is not yet announced. The ROG Phone 6 will cost ₹71,999 in the country for the 12GB/ 256GB memory option. While the ROG Phone 6 Pro is worth ₹89,999 and is available in 18GB/ 512GB variant.
