Asus ROG Phone 3 is finally receiving an Android 11 update
On its first birthday, AsusROG Phone 3 is finally getting a new software update. Despite launching last year, the device offers Android 10 pre-installed. But, Asus has been testing the latest stable operating system for the handset lately. Finally, the gaming smartphone is receiving an Android 11 update.
However, the fresh Android 11 build is limited to the home country as of now i.e; Taiwan. It will hopefully unfurl to the other parts of the world as well. The update can be identified by firmware version WW-18.0410.2105.133 weighs approximately 2.7GB in size.
Concerning changes, the software brings extensive Android 11 goodies along with ZenUI design that brings redesigned built-in apps. Furthermore, the company has issued a detailed changelog of what all you will get with the new upgrade. Here it is.
Some 3rd party apps are not yet compatible with Android 11
Please back up your data before upgrading to Android 11. If you want to downgrade your device’s software version to Android 10 by the official software package, it will erase all data from your device’s internal storage.

The update is having an incremental rollout. Thus, it will take at least one week to reach all the users. You can also give it a manual check via Settings –> About –> System Update.
