Just few minutes ago, Asus was live at CES 2015 with Press Conference and there they have launched ZenFone 2 and ZenFone Zoom. Both the devices are there with high end specs.
Asus has announced the Zenfone 2 with a full 1080p IPS screen, PixelMaster technology that improves the shots snapped with its 13-megapixel camera and allows you to take better low-light photos that are up to 400 percent brighter than previous generations. The latest flagship brings a new version of ASUS ZenUI for Android 5.0 Lollipop, apart from a quadcore 64-bit Intel Atom processor coupled with 4GB RAM. The processor that ASUS says is up to 3.1 times faster than some quad core competitors. GPU performance is about 8.1 times faster, ASUS said, noting that it also supports OpenGL 3.0.
The ZenFone 2 supports dual-SIM and has a 3,000mAh battery. It is priced for $199 for 16GB model. It will be avialaible in Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamor Red, and Ceramic White.
First coming on to the The Asus ZenFone Zoom features a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display making it as a direct competitor to the might Apple iPhone 6 Plus. The main feature of this decice is its camera which touts to be a 13 MP shooter with 10-element lens design capable of 3x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom.
It comes with quite similar 5.5-inch 1080p screen. The ZonFone Zoom will start ay $399 which is about £262 and will launch in Q2 later this year.
