After witnessing stagnating fortunes in the tablet industry, tablet manufacturer Archos is stepping in the smartphone market with a portfolio of 4 devices.
So there is the Diamond Alpha, the Archos Diamond Gamma, the Archos Sense 55x and Archos Sense 50X
Archos Diamond Alpha
The Diamond Alpha is the omega of the bunch. It is just a rebranded Nubia Z17 mini phone made by Nubia. It showcases a 5.2-inch display in a metal body. The Snapdragon 652 chip occupies the chassis along with 4 gigs of RAM and 64 gigs of storage. The Archos Diamond Alpha has two 13MP cameras at the back. On the front, sits a 16MP camera with support for 4K. The Diamond Alpha is priced at €299.
Archos Diamond Gamma
Archos Sense 55S
Third on the list is the Archos Sense 55S. And no, we are not making these names up. The device is Mi Mix look alike having a 5.5-inch HD display that covers 78% of the screen. It has just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. It retains a dual camera though, which has 2 8MP sensors. It also has a fingerprint sensor at the back. Android Nougat runs the show in tandem with a 3,000 mAh battery. The device will cost you €249.
Archos Sense 50X
All four models run on Android Nougat and will start selling in Europe during July
