Andy Rubin [promised that they will take off the wraps from Essential phone on 30th of May and here it is. The new Essential phone is here and it packs lot of premium features that no other Android smartphone prides.
The new Essential device, which is even called PH-1 is here with edge-to-edge “Full Display” with rounded corners, unique cameras and Snapdragon 835 processor.
Essential Phone packs dual 13 MP + 13MP camera on the back with image fusion technology. The one lens is monochrome sensor and other RGB. The color sensor is behind a bright f/1.85 lens and with help from the mono sensor, it offers telephoto, bokeh and 13MP “true monochrome” modes.
Along with that, there’s some extra ordinary thing and that is a accessory of 360° camera. There’s also a fisheye lenses (210°) and 4 mics for immersive video (3,840 x 1,920px @ 30fps). The accessories can be connected on the back into the two pins that are visible on the right side of the camera.
The Essential phone display is also unique in comparison with other devices. The screen has a screen has a 19:10 aspect ratio and measures 5.71″ diagonally. It provides QHD, 1,312×2,560px resolution. It is as bright as it gives 500nits of brightness.
It’s powered by Snapdragon 835 (with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage, no microSD slot). It packs a USB-C port, but does not have a Audio Jack. Also, Essential Phone packs a 3,040mAh.
