Android Wear to Get Android Pay Support Soon

Android Wear, which is going to get version 2.0 earlier next year, is expected for Android Pay Support. Samsung and Apple is already offering NFC payments on their smartwatches via Samsung Pay and Apple Pay respectively.

Now, it’s time for Google to bring the Android Pay Support on its Wear platform. Android Police has opened up few files, which are suggesting the support of Android Pay on Android Wear platform. The strings discovered in an XML file inside the app, which would presumably appear in a menu of some sort, refer to adding an account for Android Pay

Many smartwatches from companies like Huawei, Motorola, Asus and Samsung runs on Android Wear platform. Not all of them but few of them are waiting for Android Pay as those watches are equipped with NFC Chips. Around 40% of smartwatches from these companies have supportable hardware for Android Pay.

This feature would appear in the Android Wear 2.0 next year. It would be one of the most important feature of the upcoming version.

Right now, there are no confirmation from Google regarding the update.
