According to report from Pew Internet & American Life Project, Android Tablet market is growing with 48% share in market. Apple lost its customers as iPad market declined from 81% from last year to 53%. Android gained most of its space due to Kindle Fire sales which accounts for 21% share.
It’s worth pointing out that the Pew report does not factor in the Kindle Fire HD or the Nexus 7. So if we estimate that two percent which is on Apple side will surely slide toward Android. So we can say that half of Tablet Market in US is running on Android.
