In a new Android Q beta build, Google added various new changes and improvements. It brings new features such as notifications bubbles as like of Facebook Messenger, a new audio zooming in a specific area, and a foldable emulator for developers. The new beta build is available to download for all compatible Pixel devices. The OTA update for the devices will take place soon.
The new features are set to bring significant upgrades on the Android Q operating system. Facebook Messenger like notification bubbles is set to take the place of standard notification. The new strategy will improve accessibility and won’t hinder the mainstream activity for the user. Notification Bubbles are a perfect match for calls, messaging, note taking apps, etc.
Moreover, the new build brings foldable emulator to efficiently test apps for foldable devices. Users can use the new feature on Android Studio 3.5 canary release using Android Virtual device manager.
An API to improve Audio is also listed in the new build. Audio zooming API allows the microphones to focus in a specific field range. It enhances the microphone’s ability to catch the voice.
