Android Marshmallow is rolling out on AT&T Galaxy Tab S2

AT&T starts Rolling Out Android Marshmallow update on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Verizon has already rolled out marshmallow update for Galaxy Tab S2.

The AT&T Update comes with firmware number T817AUCU2BPF20 and it weighs  1074MB in size. It includes all the Marshmallow goodies, including Doze, Google Now on Tap, and redesigned app permissions. Along with all these it also includes AT&T’s Number Sync feature that gives users an option to use the tablet to make and receive voice and video calls using your existing number.

Software update includes

  • Android OS 6.0 (Marshmallow)
  • NumberSync functionality
    • NumberSync gives you the freedom to use your tablet to make and receive voice and video calls
    • Uses your existing mobile number
    • Works even if your smartphone isn’t with you

As the Update is just rolling out in Android Marshmallow over the air in US. So it may take some time to reach you. If you feel impatient than you may check it manually by heading to Settings » About device » Software update » Check for updates.
