HMD global is burning the candle at both ends to regain the loyalty of consumers. Recently at MWC 2018, they have launched their Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 8 Sirocco handsets which will gonna compete in the flagship and budget segment. Some fresh information suggests that Nokia is pushing the latest Android 8.1 Oreo update to its Nokia 5(2017) and Nokia 6(2017) handsets. It shows us that how aggressive Nokia is when it comes to consumers. So without wasting a moment let’s check out that what this new update offers.
Android 8.1 Oreo update for the Nokia 5 handset weighs around 866.5MB, whereas for the Nokia 6 it weighs 875.1MB’. This update doesn’t aim to bring something revolutionary to the devices. But still there are number of changes will be implemented as you install it. Similar to the old Android 8.0 Oreo update, it also offers the stock Android experience which means minimal or no bloatware. Other brands like Motorola, Xiaomi should take a lesson from Nokia as their handsets like Redmi Note 5 Pro, Moto G5 Plus are still glued to the way old Android 7.0 Nougat.
