Galaxy A series (2017) was officially launched this year in January. Though Samsung could launch this series with Android 7.0 Nougat, but it did it with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The reason cited behind this was, Samsung, because it wanted Galaxy S8 to be its first Android 7.0 powered smartphone of the year.
But now Samsung has moved towards mid-range smartphones for Nougat update i.e. A series. The first Nougat update has been sent to A5 smartphone in Russia.
