It’s official, Android developer team has tweeted via @Android handle on Twitter that Android 5.0 Lollipop has been started and will reach out o the Nexus devices soon.
It’s starting now with a full jump to Lollipop for devices that are currently on KitKat, and a small bug fix update for new devices like the Nexus 9. Factory images have not yet appeared, but it’s looking like it’s just a matter of time before we see them. Now you need to to check for update by heading over to the Settings>About>update menu. Here’s a step wise instructions:
- Open Settings
- Scroll all the way down to “About phone/tablet”
- Tap “System updates”
- Tap “Check now”
