Finally Google has officially started rolling out Android 4.4 Kitkat to its Nexus lineup starting with Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. Both Nexus 7 2012 variant and 2013 are slated for the update.
While as according to the Google LG Nexus 4 and Nexus 7 3G variant will soon get the update as they haven’t revealed the exact date. These going to be the second batch of devices getting the Kitkat update after the already boarded Nexus 5.
As according to the Google, Kitkat update to the Nexus 7 will brings performance boost and users who are facing some problems will be cured after this update.
All of the Nexus devices which are under age of 18 Months since the launch will get the update. Well, Galaxy Nexus users are upset with this Google’s policy. A petition to bring Android 4.4 to the old device is already in the works and has gathered 14,000 signatures last time we checked.
