Last week an Android 4.3 Update for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 Non LTE Version leaked but it was unfortunately not suitable with the LTE version of the device. The LTE users now need not worry, as the official update is now seeding to the Note 2 devices worldwide.
Good news is that, the update is stable unlike the Android 4.3 update for SIII, and AT&T Galaxy S4. As being unstable the updates to the devices were pulled off. The Note 2 came out with Android 4.1.2, and Samsung decided to skip the 4.2 update, and the 4.3 update is now rolling.
You could use the Samsung Kies to check for the update, or rather also in the “About” menu in your devices. Below is a small changelog of the Update on Note 2.
- Samsung KNOX Implementation
- OpenGL 3.0 Support
- New GPU drivers
- TRIM support
- ANT+ Support
- Improved Display
- Better touchwiz launcher
- New Keyboard and Browser
- Better and improved RAM management
- New Camera firmware, Sound & shot
- Android 4.3 features – widget lockscreen, daydream, and other minor UI tweaks too.
So this was the change log for the Android 4.3 update on your Samsung Galaxy Note 2. Do not worry if the update has not seeded to your device yet, wait for a while, and keep checking.
