Android 4.2.2 Lands On ‘yakju’ Galaxy Nexus; Manually Install If Not received

As we know Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean has been rolling out to Nexus devices ( the Nexus 7, Nexus 10 and the GSM Galaxy Nexus) from last couple of days. Today for ‘yakju’ Galaxy Nexus (Not Bought from Play Store) Jelly Bean has landed on Google servers. While ‘takju’ Galaxy Nexus, sold from Google Play, having additional feature of Google Wallet only. There are only minor changes in Android 4.2.2. like minor features and fixed a whole lot of bugs, including a fix for audio streaming over Bluetooth A2DP.

To install it manually, if haven’t received it yet. Follow these things:

First download file from here, this file can only be used if you are on JOP40D (Android 4.2.1). To flash, install via custom recovery, use “adb sideload <filename>” from stock recovery, or try the Google Services Framework trick (hasn’t worked for me). You’ll also find a root file at the XDA thread below.
