Action Launcher is one of the oldest launchers available for Android devices. The v45 of the app which is now available on the Play Store finally brings support for gesture navigation on Android 10, a widget for ActionDash, and a number of other improvements.
Android 10 debuted on Pixels in September but it lacked support for third-party launchers while using gesture navigation. This issue was only resolved with the December 2019 security patch. Following that, Action Launcher has been now updated to support gesture navigation on Android 10 finally. Thus, if you are a long-time Action Launcher user and have either disabled gestures on your Pixel or did not install the app, now is the time to reconsider after the v45 update which is now live on the Google Play Store.
Apart from support for Android 10 gesture navigation, the Action Launcher v45 update also brings a new spinning widget for ActionDash, the launcher’s clone of Google’s Digital Wellbeing. Also, users can now quickly pause any app for the day by simply long pressing on its icon. The new update of the app also improves dual-apps features which creates a second instance of supported apps and brings Quicktheme support for live wallpapers. In case you are wondering, it is a visual feature which tints the home screen based on the colours of the wallpaper applied.
Install the Action Launcher v45 from the Google Play Store to enjoy the new and improved features.
