It looks like the Chinese giant – Xiaomi is working on a new mid-range smartphone. Yesterday, the Redmi mobile carrying the model number M2101K7BNY had arrived on FCC with a few specification details. Back in February, the Redmi smartphone carrying the same model version has also arrived on the EEC Certification website. A few moments back, the same device received certification from Indonesia’s TKDN website.

At first, coming to the TKDN listing, apart from the model number (M2101K7BNY) and 4G LTE confirmation, the certification doesn’t reveal much information about the device. The device passed with the reference number TKDN – 21 – 19047.
Forthcoming to the FCC listing comes with model number M2101K7BNY and reveals a few specification details about the Hardware & Software version, connectivity options, and storage variants. As per the certification, the smartphone has appeared on the website with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. Furthermore, it is confirmed to feature two other variants, i.e., 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage.
Moreover, the device runs MIUI 12 Skin out of the box. The connectivity options include WiFi 2.4G, WiFI 5G U-NII-1&U-NII-3. For a piece of precise information, we have dropped the listing image below and above.
