Realme is all-set to launch Realme 3 Pro and Realme X smartphones in China on May 15. While Realme 3 Pro was already launched in India just a few days ago, the Realme X is expected to make its way to the Indian market pretty soon. The smartphone’s India launch has now been confirmed by Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth. Moreover, the upcoming Realme X with model number RM1901, recently got BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) certification that indicates a nearing launch date. Realme X appeared on TENAA a few days ago with some key specs that include a 6.5-inch FHD+ notch-less display and a decent 3,680 mAh battery.
A video also surfaced online that shows the smartphone will have a pop-up selfie camera. Other rumored specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 processor, rear dual cameras (48MP+5MP), VOOC 3.0 fast charging, and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Realme X is expected to be a bit pricier than Realme 3 Pro, which costs INR 13,999. The smartphone’s estimated price in China starts at CNY 1,799 that translates to INR 18,500. Considering the smartphone’s pricing, it offers some great features to the mid-range users.
While there is no official statement on Realme X specifications and therefore, is best taken with a grain of salt. With official launch approaching, we’ll get to know the details quite soon.
