Huawei might be working on a successor to the previously launched Enjoy 8 Series of devices. According to a new leak, the purported Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus is all due to hit the market anytime soon. The leak is courtesy to the reliable leaker – Evan Blass, who’ve had exposed both render and specifications of the device.
As per a Twitter post by Blass (@evleaks), the Enjoy 9 Plus packs significant upgrades and changes compared the Enjoy 8 devices. The device would be powered by Kirin 710, instead of the Kirin 659 seen on the Enjoy 8s. For your info, the Kirin 710 is a new mid-range SoC from Huawei fabricated based on 12nm node. If the leak comes out to be true, the device will be a power-efficient one – thanks to the 12nm chipset.

Other specs of the Enjoy 9 Plus revealed by the leaker are: A 6.5″ TFT LCD with 1080 x 2340 resolution, 6GB/128GB onboard storage and 4000mAh battery. Regarding optics, the device might flaunt a total of 4 cameras. Two each at the rear and front. The megapixel count given by him is a 13MP+2MP combo on the front, and a 16MP+2MP combo resides at the back. The device should run the latest EMUI 8.2 skinned on the top of Android Oreo 8.1.
In the render, the device looks considerably different from its predecessors. This time, Huawei has gone for glass build with its signature gradient finish. It has rounded corners, thin chin-bezels and a notch on the forehead giving more appealing though. A rounded fingerprint placed on the back-side is visible on the render.
That said, there is no word on the launch date of the Huawei Enjoy Y9 Plus. Since a device which is considered to be the Enjoy Y9 Plus itself has surfaced on TENAA some time ago, its announcement should happen soon rather than later.
