Though we are still months away from the launch of Google’s third generation Pixel smartphones, the leaks keep on emerging. The newly leaked case renders yet again confirm the notch and single rear camera on the Google Pixel 3 XL. Previously, the same was confirmed by the images of the prototype as well as the screen protectors.
The case renders (pictured above) with the Google Pixel 3 inside it once again confirms the infamous notch. But, what’s exciting is the return of the front-facing stereo speaker which also gets confirmed again. Moving to the back of the case, it clearly shows the hole for the single camera. The adjacent oval-shaped cutout is for the flash and laser-assisted Auto Focus. And the bigger hole in the center is for the traditional capacitive fingerprint sensor. Thus, no fancy under display fingerprint sensor like the X21 UD and NEX S.
We all know that Google’s Pixel smartphones feature a wonderful camera. And even without dual camera setup, the portrait shots come out excellent. But, still having a secondary shooter with telephoto or wide angle lens might come in handy sometimes. As for the notch, Android P natively supports it and that will be the design of smartphones for the years to come.
