OnePlus 6 starts getting OxygenOS 5.1.7 with bootloader security fix and some new features as well. The bootloader bug is discovered recently, we have also reported you about this. The attacker only needs the physical access of your device in order to bypass the bootloader protection measures.

In India Oneplus paused the roll out of OxygenOS 5.1.7 in India. The company says they will be rolling out OxygenOS 5.1.8 update next week in India. which will include the fix & also contain all the features included in the 5.1.7 update.
Coming to OxygenOS Open Beta 12 for the OnePlus 5 and Open Beta 10 for OnePlus 5T comes with June Security Patch. We recommend you to charge your phone at least up to 50% before start installing.
