During the unveil of the latest ARCore edition 1.2 at Google I/0 2018 earlier this year. Google had promised to make this AR platform available on many new devices. As its result, certain deserving flagships have been updated to support the ARCore some time in gone days. And, now the support is being extended to two more new devices – Moto G5S Plus and LG V35 ThinQ.
The Moto G5S and LG V35 are now present in the official list of the ARCore supported devices. It’s good to know the former supporting the ARCore even with the Android Nougat 7.0 such that the Android Oreo update for the device is around the corner. Seems, Moto doesn’t want to make the users wait for it until the Oreo roll-out. Coming to the LG V35 ThinQ, which as itself is not properly available in the market, consequently the device will ship with ARCore support on-board.
Do note that, the concerned OEMs of the devices haven’t yet officially announced the support, but their presence in the list is more than enough to confirm. Also, certain Moto G5S Plus users have confirmed the ARCore working on their devices at various forums.
As in fact, only few flagships and some mid-rangers are blessed with the ARCore support. In case if you’d like to see the full list of devices compatible with ARCore, then click here.
