Xiaomi has recently presented its Mi TV4A in India which is targeted to the budget-oriented consumers. It looks like after the launch of Redmi Note 5/Note 5 Pro they are all ready to launch their one more handset for the Indian market. Amazon India has just teased an image which has confirmed that they will gonna launch their new handset and it will be an Amazon exclusive. No other information is there about the handset at Amazon India. But we do have some facts which tell us about the upcoming smartphone.
A little while back Xiaomi’s Global VP and MD(Manu Kumar Jain) has attached an image to his Twitter account which says “Compact Powerhouse is launching on 14th March”. According to us, the compact powerhouse title is well deserved by the earlier launched Xiaomi Redmi 5. Xiaomi has earlier introduced its Redmi 5 smartphone in China. It was among the first few handsets from Xiaomi that houses an 18:9 ratio HD Display with a resolution of 1440 x 720 pixels.
The device comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450(64 bit) Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz coupled with optional 2GB/3GB of RAM along with an Adreno 506 GPU for Gaming. This device comes with 16GB/32GB optional ROM versions which are further expandable up to 128GB’s via micro-SD card. In the Camera section it packs a 12MP rear snapper with Aperture f/2.2, LED Flash and in the front, there is a 5MP shooter for selfies.
This device runs on a 3300mAh battery. The connectivity options includes 4G connectivity, Bluetooth 4.2, IR Blaster, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc. In China, the device is being made available in Black, Gold, Blue and Rose colors but for India, nothing has been confirmed yet. We are expecting the Indian launch of Redmi 5 on 14th March.
