The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ were officially unpacked at a beautiful event in Barcelona hours ago. Meanwhile, Samsung patrons all around the globe are looking forward for the day on which the duo will be released or available in the market. While the release date may vary depending on the region, perhaps, it might be happening earlier in India and U.A.E. Since the pre-ordering has now open in both of the nations.
Firstly, considering the situation in India. Those who’re willing to take home the S9’s, have the options to pre-book either Offline or Online. If going for the former method, i.e. through the Samsung authorized offline stores, buyers will have to register via the Pre-book app available at the respective outlets, today onwards.
Or if you prefer pre-ordering Online without the need of visiting a nearest retailer. The online pre-booking can be done via only Samsung Online Store as of now. However, soon the e-commerce platform, Flipkart will also starts taking the pre-order. Note that, an initial payment of Rs. 2000 needs to be deposited in-order to succesfully pre-book on both Offline and Online channel.
However, there is no official word regarding the pricing of devices in India. Nevertheless, It’s expected to be around Rs. 50,000 for the Galaxy S9 base model. As far as its larger sibling, the S9+ is considered it might touch 55K for the base variant.
Galaxy S9 and S9+ Pre-Orders in U.A.E
After the pre-order kick-started in India, U.A.E was the second country to do the same. Unlike in India, Samsung U.A.E had laid down the pricing details of the devices.
The larger, Galaxy S9 is priced at Dh. 3,499, Dh. 3,699 and Dh. 3,899 for the 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage variant accordingly. Whereas the Galaxy S9 will be worth Dh. 3,099, Dh. 3,299 and Dh. 3,499 for 64GB, 128GB and 256GB variants respectively.
