Samsung has been rolling out updates since yesterday to its various devices. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 received a new update yesterday, though the new software version did not bumped the security patch. Now after the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy A8+ has received a new update. This has been the second update which is rolled out in this month to any device.
The update for Samsung Galaxy A8+ is being released in India, becoming the initial countries to receive it. And the best part is that the it has the latest Android security patch i.e the January security patch. And it gives a feeling of being special as the update has been only sent to Indian users. Most of the other markets have not received the update yet.
The size of the update is 114 MB, which is quite small when compared to the other updates. The firmware version of the update is A730FXXU1ARAC. We suggest to check for the update manually, if you haven’t received it yet. Either, you can wait for the update as it may take some time to reach every device out there.
It is recommended to download and install the update as it will enhance your device’s security. Also do backup your device before you install the update.
