OnePlus has been recently teasing the Sandstone White version of 5T. And now this upcoming new variant of critically acclaimed OnePlus 5T surfaces on Chinese e-commerce site JD. com .
The new Sandstone White variant is expected to launch on January 5. OnePlus decided to bring this new variant based on fan’s response to the Star Wars Edition too had the same back. Because, it brought the nostalgia of first two iterations of OnePlus which had the same Sandstone back.
Anyways the specifications will remain the same as the higher variant of 5T thought it will rock a new look. Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. It pairs with whopping 128 GB of internal storage and 8 GB of RAM. On the front, the device will sport the same 6 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 18:9.
For optics, it will come with dual camera setup consisting of a 16 MP and 20 MP sensors. For selfies, it will have another 16 MP sensor at the front. The fingerprint sensor will be located at the back similar to regular 5T as the front is fully occupied by the screen. The phone will run on Oxygen OS based on Android Nougat. Finally, the device will be backed by a 3,300 mAh battery with Dash Charge technology for fast charging capabilities.
According to some reports, the Sandstone White variant of OnePlus 5T will first go on sale in China on January 9.
