Motorola which is now owned by Lenovo brought back the good old Moto X series this year. The so called Moto X4 does not resemble any of its predecessor. It is one of its kind with glass back body and mid-range specifications. In case you are not aware of, Moto X series used to be the flagship models from Motorola.

Past apart, just now the popular leaker Evan Blass who goes by the name of @evleaks confirmed the existence of Moto X5.
Evan simply posted the logo of the upcoming Moto X5 replying to his Moto X4 logo tweet which he tweeted earlier this year. He didn’t mention any specification of the phone yet. However, more leaks will emerge in coming days which is the case with any new Android smartphone recent years.
Until then, we can only assume for ourselves about what this next Moto X smartphone will pack. Probably, it will feature the same design from Moto X4 with some updated internals especially the processor.
To recall, Motorola just launched the Moto X4 in many regions across the globe. So, it is kind of a surprise if the Moto X4 gets announced earlier next year. In case you do not know, Motorola already announced the Moto Z 2018 in China last month.
According to the source Play edition will return in Motorola devices next year. Earlier Motorola launches Play editions of its premium phone in which the Stock Android is loaded. The devices which are expected to come as play Editions next Year are: Moto G6 Play along with G6 Plus, Moto E Series (E5/E5 Play/E5 Plus).
