Facebook has started rolling-out a new feature to its popular social media platform, Instagram. The feature enables cross-posting of Insta stories to Facebook stories. In simple words, you can now post Instagram Stories to Facebook stories simultaneously. Eventually, eradicating the need of posting stories twice on the both platform separately.
Although, the stories from Insta can be posted to Facebook, its converse is not possible as of now. That is, Facebook stories cannot be synced to Instagram stories. However, Facebook may come up with the Facebook to Insta cross-posting feature as well in near future.
“You now have the option to share your Instagram Stories to your Facebook Stories. We’re always working to make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you.”
-A Facebook Spokesperson
Those who need a refresher, the Stories feature was first made available in Snapchat. Later, Facebook too followed the Snapchat and added the feature to its social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Whatsapp. To be honest, the Stories is substantially a success only in Instagram compared to other Facebook derivatives.
In fact, the success of Stories in Insta might have made Facebook to bring this new cross-posting idea. Anyway, the idea seems to be productive and comfy. Moreover, it should be live for all of the Insta users by now.
