The Galaxy A series has been adopting Galaxy S features. They adopted from the year before and successfully bringing them to the premium mid-range market. The 2017 models has taken Always on Display and water resistance. The 2018 models will take on the Infinity Display design according to leaks.
We all have seen a look of the Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A7 (2018). Now it’s time to look for Galaxy A (2018). There is an 18.5:9 Infinity Display on the front. It gives the phone a premium look. Benchmark failed to reveal the resolution. We are looking at 1080p – or rather 1080 x 2220 px to match the aspect ratio.
The sides of the phone are very slim. There is a Bixby button, the button which aunches Samsung’s digital assistant. At the back, there is a single camera. The fingerprint reader is better positioned than on the Note 8. It is close to the camera but for us, it is in a better position. The dual camera is likely to launch on the 2019 model.
The Galaxy A3 (2018) is the smallest device of the series may miss out on some features. The Bixby button and the Infinity Display are in question. We are looking forward to more details.
