The handset is powered by Kirin 970 chipset, its latest flagship SoC with AI capabilities. In a new short video posted on Huawei’s official Twitter handle, the company claims that the “Mate 10 is not a smartphone” and is actually “an intelligent machine”.
Huawei further boasts the device stating “it sees, thinks, and learns”, “like us, for us.” The handset is “alive with potential” to “unlock your potential.” The video primarily highlights Mate 10’s biggest feature, which is undoubtedly  artificial intelligence. Huawei wants to create a hype by marketing intelligent capabilities of the device, which offer much better AI experience compared to other smartphones.
According to Huawei Kirin 970 chipset is world’s first mobile AI chip with a dedicated NPU (Neural Processing Unit). However, it remains to be seen, how it performs in real-life conditions.
