When you want to buy ultra-low budget phones in the US, ZTE is one of the options. Speaking of which, the company has just launched the ZTE Tempo X at the rock bottom price of $80. The handset will be sold exclusively through Boost Mobile. Right now, it’s US exclusive. We don’t know if it will be available elsewhere. What do we get for $80?
ZTE packs the Tempo X with a 5.0-inch FWVGA display with (480 x 854 pixels) resolution. The handset features the low-end Snapdragon 210 SoC with 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB of ROM. However, there is an option of storage expansion with a 32 GB SD card. The ZTE Tempo X is powered by a 2,200 juice pack. Moreover, it runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1. What you pay is what you get here. So, don’t expect any huge surprises.
Furthermore, for photo & video capturing, ZTE has integrated a rear 5 MP lens with LED flash and a 2 MP selfie lens. As for connectivity, the usual stuff like dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro USB port is all in there.
