Action Launcher team is on a roll as they are rolling out new features on daily basis to the launcher. We can say this is the 3rd update of this week for Action Launcher users. This time they have added the support for the adaptive icon. Further, they are also launching a new companion app companion app—an icon pack. Earlier, the same things were available to the users using beta version for the launcher.
Action Launcher V28 also packs all the bug fixes and performance improvements which were seen in the beta update with same version. Further, Action launcher has extended the compatibility with the Android 8.0 Oreo in terms of performance and nativity.
Here’s the official changelog of the Action Launcher V28:
- Adaptive Pack integration (naturally!).
- Full Adaptive Icon style customization options, allowing you to pick from five icon styles: circle, square, rounded square, teardrop and squircle.
- Adaptive Icon support is now integrated into Quickedit, so you can customize the icon Adaptive Icon style on a per-app basis.
- A brand new icon picker.
- Improved compatibility when running on Oreo, including use of the light navigation bar.
Adaptive Icon is the feature of the Android 8.0 Oreo, which allow users to change the icon shape to circle, square and teardrop.
Users who are not aware of Action Launcher, then here’s a good chance to own it and use it. Currently, Action Launcher is available for $3.49 rather than the regular price of $4.99. Action Launcher and Adaptive Pack can work their magic on any phone running Lollipop or higher.
