Good news for Verizon Asus ZenPad Z10 users! Verizon has finally started pushing long awaited Android Nougat update for the tablet (in the era of Android Oreo). The update bumps software version on the tablet to 5.4.4. The update also brings all the goodies of Android Nougat such as multi window mode for easier multitasking, quick notification settings and data saver. Further, there’s going to be enhanced doze mode for battery optimization, August Android security patch and bug fixing for various known issues.
Right now, Verizon is seeding the update over the air (OTA) for all ZenPad Z10 devices running on its network. Make sure to maintain at least 50% battery in you device and backup all important data before updating the tablet. You can read more about the update by hitting the source below.
In October 2016, Asus launched ZenPad Z10 in the US with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Since then the tablet is available on Verizon Wireless. The tablet has 9.7 inch IPS LCD display of resolution with 1536 x 2048 pixels resolution which makes 264 ppi pixel density. The tablet is powered by hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor and has 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and microSD card support for further memory expansion.
Asus ZenPad Z10 has 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera. The device has non-removable Li-Po 7800 mAh battery.
