Galaxy A5 (2017) – The flagship similar offerings at an affordable mid-range price is the speciality of this device(also, its larger sibling, Galaxy A7). Officially announced way back in January and had hit all most all major markets a couple of months later, U.S. being an exception, though. However, an U.S. based retailer B&H has listed the Galaxy A5(2017) for $330 under its website. Implies, finally the Galaxy A5 (2017) is available in U.S. market.
Unlocked International variant(SM-A520F) of Galaxy A5 (2017) is listed by B&H. Unfortunately, the Gold coloured variant of the device is only up for sale as of now. not to be disappointed as other colour variants would be available soon. One can pre-order the Blue or Black model now and could purchase once it is available.
Galaxy A7 (2017) was made available in U.S by the same retailer, B&H Photo Video just recently. The online retailer is an unofficial retailer(not a Samsung official partner). However, they promises 1 year warranty service for both the Galaxy devices.Â
In case if you don’t know. The Galaxy A5 (2017) is an IP68 water & dust resistant certified device. It packs octa-core Exynos 7880 clocked at 1.9GHz under the hood. 32GB of primary which is expandable upto 256GB clubbed with a 3GB RAM. A reversible Type-C port is used to charge  the 3,000mAh battery it boards. The phone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 on board and can be upgraded to recently latest Nougat 7.0 over-the-air.
