For the one’s who are developers, here a good news for you guys. HTC last year had come up with Android 7.0 Nougat update in the end of 2016 for some devices. But the catch was that it was only available for unlocked version. But later, the company has given the update for T-Mobile, Telstra and Verizon. You can check the updated page on their website.
Apart from this, HTC has also published the kernel source code for HTC One A9 for the first time on their website. The best part of HTC is that it provides source code in a really quick way, but it’s the first time it has taken time to upload A9 codes. There is also an update that it will bring in the Kernel source code for HTC U11 very soon, which was launched recently.
For unlocked version of A9, you can get the source code for EE carrier version as well Telstra. Along with that there’s also country specific code, especially for India and China that is available for download.
We know this update isn’t interesting for those who are not into building ROMs and mods. But if you are the one who is into it, then it is a good news for you and you can grab the build from the source link below.
