Google launched its personal home assistant powered by Artificial intelligence, the Google Home last year in the US. Upon its release, Google Home became widely popular and was well received. Following the success, Google is now planning to target more countries and the recent one added to that list is Australia.
Starting from July 20, you can purchase the Google Home from the Google Stores in Australia for AUD 199. The product is also available for sale at JB Hi-Fi, Harvey Norman, Officeworks, The Good Guys, Telstra, Optus, and Qantas Store.
Google is also launching the Google WiFi on the same day for AUD 199. Google WiFi is a smart WiFi connectivity router. You could control it from the comfort of your smart phone using the proprietary Google app. You could also get 3 of them for a discounted price of AUD 499.
Google is also expected launch the Google Home in Germany on August for €149. It will go on sale from August 8 and could be purchased from the Google Store and is also available at MediaMarkt, Saturn, mobilcom-debitel, Conrad, Cyberport, Tink, EP, Medimax, and Otto. The Google Home in Germany will also support German language.
