After the great success of the Redmi series and recently annocuned Redmi 4 and 4X. Xiaomi could announce a new handset next month in July. This new leak is coming from China directly.
The smartphone will not be a Redmi series, but a Mi phone instead, as said in the leak. This can be a hint that the company can launch an entirely new phone in the Mi series.
Earlier today, “riva” a new Xiaomi handset has appeared on Geekbench. After the specifications leak on Geekbench, we expect it to launch this month.
Xiaomi’s new handset has specifications like 3GB RAM and chipset of Snapdragon 427, Snapdragon 425 or Snapdragon 415. The Xiaomi riva will ship with Android 7.1.2 Nougat on-board. This is the only information that we know about the Xiaomi “riva” till date.
