May 2017, ZTE launched its new smartphone that is ZTE Nubia Z17. The phone comes in Aurora Blue, Black Gold, Obsidian Black, Solar Gold, and Flame Red colour variants. The smartphone has the price of CNY 2,799 (roughly Rs. 26,400).

The ZTE Nubia Z17 comes with the 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display. It has a display resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels with a pixel density of 403 ppi. It measures at 152.6 x 72.4 x 7.6 mm (6.01 x 2.85 x 0.30 in) dimensions and a weight of 173 g (6.10 oz). The display has protected with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone is a Dual SIM device that accepts a Nano-SIM.

The ZTE Nubia Z17 runs on the nubia UI 5.0 user interface based on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 chipset and Octa-core (4×2.35 GHz Kryo & 4×1.9 GHz Kryo) processor. It supports Adreno 540 GPU. The phone has a 6 GB /8 GB of RAM.
