Telegram has finally rolled out one of the long due feature to the V3.1. Telegram developers has embedded the Custom theme support in the latest build of V3.1.
The privacy-focused messaging service is finally getting custom theme support on Android, which is just fantastic. You have three basic ones to start, and one of those is dark theme. The version v3.17 allows to use the dark theme which is good for those “who don’t want to use Telegram as a flashlight in dark places,” the company said in its official blog post.
In addition, you can also create custom theme and then can share it publicly with other users. As said in a blog post, “Just like stickers and bots, Telegram themes are part of an open platform, so anybody can create a theme and dazzle the world with new colours and backgrounds.” You can also use other themes which have been shared by users publicly by visiting the @themes portal.
In order to switch to a theme or create a new one, users need to head to Settings > Themes within the app.
Additionally, Telegram is made compatible for Android Wear 2.0 recently.
The update is on the roll. Just wait for the update from the Play Store.
