Huawei has sent press invites for an event which is going to held on August 17th. It is a product launch event and we expect launch of P9 smartphone. We are pretty sure about the launch of P9 as If you recall, Huawei’s India Consumer Device Business Group President Allen Wang had indicated last month that the device could land in the country soon.
Huawei P9 is already annocuned and was made official back in early April this year. The main USP of the device is its dual-camera setup, which has been co-engineered with German optics specialist Leica.
Also, we can expect some other mid level handset. As we have always seen that Huawei has introduced many mid level devices in the Country.
Additionally, Huawei P9 comes with a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, Kirin HiSilicon 955 processor. The 3GB version features 32GB of internal storage while the 4GB version has 64Gb of internal storage. There’s a 12MP dual camera setup on the back, a 3,000 mAh battery and ships with Android Marshmallow with Huawei UI on top of it.
