Google Camera v4.1 has been found in the Android 7.0 Nougat Developer Preview 5. Now it has been pulled and there are few new features that have been spotted. It’s v4.1, a significant jump over the current Play Store version. In Changes, the UI has been tweaked, some new animations, and better control over buttons.
As Per The folks over the Android Police, they have manage to notice the below mentioned changes:
- New flattened settings layout.
- New zoom animation when tapping a photo to view it from the view finder.
- New look for Timer/HDR/Flash toggles.
- New HDR “processing” animation.
- Volume key action can now be specified:
- Shutter (default)
- Zoom
- Volume
- You can now swipe left to right to pull out the menu.
- Nav buttons dim slightly when you open the app.
The biggest change we have noticed is the volume button, now you can assign the function of the buttons to shutter, zoom or simple volume increase or decrease features. User interface wise, Google has focused much more on small aspects to improve the user interaction. Toggles have been revamped to bring easiness to the users.
We don’t know when this version of the app is going to rollout on Play Store. But you can download it from APKmirror below (compatible only with Android 7.0).
