Android One, a Google’s programme launched at last year’s Google I/O conference. Last year, it was launched in developing nations like India, Philippines, Indonesia.
Now Google is going to expand it to other continents, Yes, they are coming with Android One in Europe. Google will initially launch Android One handset in the Spain, Portugal and Netherlands.
The first ever Android One device that will go on sale in the Europe’s Spain and Portugal is manufactured by local phone maker BQ. It will come with the Aquaris A4.5 for €169.9 and €179.9 respectively. Aquaris A4.5 is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor along with 1GB RAM and offers 16GB of onboard storage, as well a microSD slot to add 64GB more space. There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel shooter in front. A 2,470mAh battery rounds off the package.
Well, Netherlands is already blessed with Android One since August of this year. General Mobile 4G, the Android One device that launched in Turkey, has been available for in the country.
Overall, Android One is now available in Southeast Asia, Turkey, and several African countries.
