Download: Google Inbox App Open For All; New Features Arrived

Google announced today at its I/O developer conference that inbox app is now open to anyone with a Gmail or Google Apps account.

Inbox received various new features like a new “Trip Bundles” feature that keeps emails related to travel in one place, and improved controls for things like Undo Send, Signatures, and Swipe to Delete:

  • With Undo Send—now for the first time on your phone—you can take back an email right after sending in case you spotted a mistake, or have second thoughts
  • ‘Delete’ the default swiping action
  • If you want to personalize your sent messages, you can now add a custom signature
  • Deep linking. Open a HotelTonight reservation or Eat24 order in an email, and instead of launching it in a browser, Inbox will open the appropriate app. It’s done using an open standard that any developer can support for its own apps.
  • Google Apps support. People who use Gmail’s business-oriented incarnation will be able to use Inbox to access their mail.
  • A few other things. You can configure Inbox to delete messages rather than archive them when you swipe, and reminders are now integrated with Google’s Evernote-likeKeep app.
