HTC has officially unveiled its ‘Uh-oh’ program for HTC M9 owners in the U.S. The new program is covering screen and water damage, as well as carrier switching — or get $100 off the next HTC One.
This program covers cracked screen or water damage for 12 months, or provides $100 off the next HTC One. It also covers replacements required due to switching carriers, which should make the issue of network locks a thing of the past for HTC One M9 users.
HTC adopted this new program because as per the survey from Google in March 2015 with individuals that had damaged their smartphone: 69% of respondents said they have damaged their phone in the past 12 months, and 47% of those that have repaired their phone spent $100 or more, while 25% are currently using a damaged phone.
