Motorola promised an update to latest version of Android and today for people in India that promise is going to be fulfilled.Update to Android 5.0 (Lollipop) is for the first and second generation of Moto G in India.
If you have one then your phone should show you a notification as soon as the update is available for download. Or, you can check if the update is available by going to Settings > About phone > System updates.
