The Moto Maker was widely appreciated for allowing the Motorola customers to customize their smartphones and will also allow users to do the same with the upcoming Moto 360. Google seems to be following in the footsteps of Motorola with their Google Workshop.
The Google Workshop will unfortunately not let you change the phone’s body but allows you to choose a case for your Nexus 5 and customize the case according to your wish. The Workshop will allow you to imprint any photo you choose onto your Nexus 5 protective casing. With the customized case comes a live wallpaper in your phone based on what photo you choose for the protective cover. The feature can sure boost up the Nexus 5 sales by allowing users flexibility on what they want their smartphones to look like. No information is yet available on when will this feature be available for all the potential Nexus 5 customers or how much will it set you back by. We’ll keep you updated. Till then, stay connected.
