A Sony device with the model number D6603 has passed FCC certifications and according to Sony’s convention, this device is no other than the Sony Xperia Z3.
This certification comes as a surprise as Xperia Z3 has received its FCC certification quite early. We say so because Xperia Z3 has not had many leaks and the FCC certification coming in this early could hint at Sony planning at a side-by-side international and US release which is not something we see very happen. So if you live in the US, you probably won’t have to wait for long for the Xperia Z3 to be available at a store near you or at your carrier after it gets its international release. The Xperia Z3 is expected to be unveiled at IFA trade show this year in Berlin.
