After working wonders for Xiaomi in its homeland China and a couple of other Asian nations, Xiaomi’s Mi-3 has finally arrived in India. The device comes with a price tag of Rs. 14,999 or about $250 which is not bad at all considering the specs that the phone has to offer. The device is however not available in India as of now and will be available from July 15th.
Priced at $250, it’ll be very hard to guess that the device is company’s flagship but after you get to know what the device packs you’ll be surprised. The Mi-3 boasts of a 5″ IPS display screen that offers a resolution of 1980 X 1080. You’ll find a 13 MP shutter on its back with a flash while a 2 MP camera on the front is provided for all the selfie-enthusiasts. The device is powered by a 3,050 mAh powerhouse which seems enough to keep you going. Under the hood, you’ll find a Snapdragon 800 SoC along with quad-core 2.3GHz CPU and Adreno 330 GPU. A 2 GB ram and 16 GB or storage memory is what the device brings to you. But here’s a spoiler, the 16 GB is all you’ll get for storing all your files as the memory is non-expandable. The device operates on Android 4.3 with MIUI 5. And finally something extra you’re getting than the Chinese variant of the Mi-3 – the Play Store and Google apps which were missed on the Chinese variant.
Today, Xiaomi has confirmed this via their facebook page.
