Google has rolled out update to its Google Drive Android App and is now available for download in the Play Store. Developers have added several new features and enhancements including Cloud Printing, ability to download and card style UI which also gets launched on Google+ Mobile Site.
Detailing each and every features, first start wit new Card Style UI — In order to create more advancement user friendly environment, Drive App now displays files in a clean, simple card-style. You can swipe between files to see large previews that let you quickly review and discover the information you’re looking for. Its the refined Holo design of the Play Music app.
Further you can also download the files locally on your SD card or desired storage option.
Another fine option that Google has added in the latest Google Drive for Android App update is the ability to take a photo of a document and save it using OCR (Optical Special Recognition). So guys now take a photo and save your document as a PDF file.
Further you can tweak app as according to your need aka now you can adjust text features for the spreadsheets document type, giving you the ability to change font size and types. You can even adjust text color and cell alignment for better reading and formatting.
Another feature is the cloud printing — Google has enabled cloud printing and you can use it with any cloud printing enabled printer.
